Thomas Yost

Thomas Michael Yost, 81, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023 in Alvord. He was born April 14, 1942 to Norman Robert and Audrey Wyonne (Prindle) Yost in San Diego, California. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Janice Yost. He grew up in San Diego and played AAA baseball from 1961 to 1964. He played for the Red Sox and Giants. Thomas worked in retail management for many years. He retired from Walmart after 40 years of service. Thomas enjoyed fishing, and collecting memorabilia. He loved to spend time with family especially his grandchildren. Thomas is survived by his sons, Sean Yost and his wife Nicole, Anthony Moore, and Michael Moore; nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He will be dearly missed by all who know and loved him.
