Gary Wayne Woolf, 74, passed away, Monday, July 11, 2022. He was born November 20, 1947 at 4:43 a.m. in Rotan, Texas. Parents were Lewis and Opal Irene Woolf. Gary was raised in Hamlin, Texas and graduated Hamlin High School in 1966. He always said he was born to be an oilfield hand, he cussed the oilfield but anyone who knew him knew he loved it. Gary is survived by wife Denice, of 28 years, and she was his angel on the ground when he got sick. She was by his side both day and night. He is also survived by his sons, John and Irvin of Keller, Texas, Michael and Patty of Stamford, Texas, Chris and Lori of Mineral Wells, Texas, Jason and Randi of Mineral Wells, Texas, Shawn and Diane Spangler of Brock, Texas, Shannon Spangler of Mineral Wells, Texas; daughter, Katherine Spangler of Mineral Wells, Texas; sister, Debra Willis of Southlake, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; special friends, Eddie and Angie Paxston. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bobby and Jimmy. Gary always thought his boys were the greatest thing to happen to him until the grandkids started to arrive. His boys were still great but the grands could do no wrong. Gary loved and will never forget his fur babies.
