James West

James, Tenaff West, 72, of Springtown, passed away, Monday, May 8, 2023 at Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. He was born on July 24, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to John and Lelia Mae (Oglageo) West. Jim married Mary Goad on June 11, 1994. She preceded him in death along with his parents; brother, Bill West; sisters, Diane Tidwell and Wanda West; stepson, David Chism; and stepdaughter Sharon Spears. He worked in construction with Denton County until an accident caused his permanent disability. Jim is survived by his daughter, Becki Beane and her husband, Toby; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Beane; grandson, Seth Beane; sister, Debby West; stepdaughter‘s, Michelle Sweeney and Maryann Stolz; stepson, Donald Chism; several step grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, as well as a large extended family and friends.

Jim’s wishes were to be cremated. No visitation /services planned.
