Jeannie Watson

Jeannie Sue Poindexter Watson, 75, passed away, Friday, March 10, 2023 at home. She was born May 5, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Her father, John Poindexter preceded her in death along with her brother, Chris Poindexter. Jeannie grew up in Fort Smith and that is where she met Jack Watson. They were married in 1967 and were blessed with three daughters. They moved to Texas around 1981. Jeannie had a kind heart and could be found taking care of others kids as her own. Left to cherish fond memories are her husband of 56 years, Jack; daughters, Shelly Kelley and husband, Leroy Jones, Amanda Tribble and husband, Chris and Wendie Kirkham; mother, Jean Poindexter; grandchildren, Ash, Natalie, Autumn and Blake; and great grandchildred, Tyler, Zayne and Levi. All of whom will miss her dearly.
