Donald Walters

Donald F. Walters, 66 of Springtown, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 27, 2019 at home. Don was born March 4, 1953 in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to Graydon L. and Alice J. Walters. They both preceded him in death along with several grandchildren. He grew up and attended school in Galeton, Pennsylvania. Don Married Carmella McPherson on June 22, 1992 in Irving. He worked as a Superintendent for HC Beck for over 6 years. Don was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the US Army, along with being involved in Helping Hands of Dallas and helping local pastors. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the staff of Solaris Hospice, Texas Organ Donor and the UNT Willed Body Program. He is survived by his wife, Carmella (Cammy) Walters; sister, Diane Johnston; children, Jamie Lum, Jennifer Walters, Sasha Hilliard, Donald Walters II and Marcus Walters; grandchildren, Samantha, Gabriella, Annamarie, Christopher, Marcus, Taylor, Braeden, Alexis, Aurora, Mikey, Lucas and Jacob; great granddaughter, Madeline Elizabeth.
