Violet Wagner, a beloved homemaker and treasured member of her community, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, in Aurora, at the age of 86. Born on February 5, 1939, in Olathe, Kansas,  she lived a life marked by love, kindness, and unwavering faith.

Violet was a devoted mother to her sons, Mitchell Bottom, Blane Bottom, and Michael Bottom, who found joy alongside his wife, Mary. Her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who cherished her warmth and compassion.

She was a woman of deep faith, attending church regularly and embodying the values of kindness and generosity throughout her life. Violet's love for her family was evident in the small, everyday moments, and she poured her heart into making life special for every person she encountered.

With a passion for crafting, Violet delighted in creating Indian dolls, showcasing her creativity and love for artistry. She also found solace in the pages of her Bible, continually seeking wisdom and inspiration. Alongside her creative pursuits, she enjoyed shopping and the companionship of her dogs, Baby, Boy, and Fifi, who brought her unwavering joy and comfort.

Violet was predeceased by her son, Bradley Bottom, and her parents, Lenord Goodin and Viot (Jordan) Goodin, and brother Leonard Goodin. Her legacy of love continues to resonate within the lives of her family, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

As we reflect on her life, we remember Violet as a kind and loving person whose presence brought joy to the lives of those around her. She embodied the essence of family and faith, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
