Hayden Wesly Vines, 89, of Nocona passed away Sunday, February 25, in Decatur. He was born May 3, 1934 to Laymon and Lucy (Williams) Vines in Fisher county, Texas. Hayden was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Hazel Campbell. He retired from the US Postal Service and spent his retirement years as a rancher. Hayden was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mary (Patterson) Vines; son, Randy Vines and wife Patricia; daughters, Cindy Watson and husband Floyd, Tracy Polley and husband Bill; sister, Mary Ann Clements; grandchildren, Toby, Miranda, Tanner, Jayton; great-grandchildren, Alex and Sawyer, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.A special thanks Hayden's loving care givers and to the Goods Days Foundation, 2611 Internet Blvd Ste 105, Frisco, Texas 75034, who for 2 years provided purchasing assistance for Hayden’s cancer fighting medication.
