Edward Thornburg

Edward Loyd Thornburg, 76, went home to his Lord, on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in Springtown. He was born October 11, 1946, to William Franklin and Annie Jo (Laymance) Thornburg in Teague. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 29 years, Wanda Thornburg; brother William Thornburg; sister, Kathy Thornburg. He is survived by his brother Dwayne Thornburg and his wife Betty; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. He was a custodian for the Arlington ISD for more that 25 years and a member of Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. Edward enjoyed restoring old bicycles in his spare time. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
