Glynn Thompson

Glynn Everette Thompson, 73, passed away, Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Decatur. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. He was born October 14, 1948 in Dallas to Jack and Lily (Murphy) Thompson. They both preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Disabled Americans Veterans (DAV). He served proudly in the US Navy from 1968 to1970 and 1981 to 1986. He worked with the Department of Interior, Department of Labor and the Forest Service. Glynn attended and graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelors and a Masters from Bridgewater University. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend for 45 years, Rhonda Addison Thompson; sister, Patricia Jeffries; children, Arron Jenkins and wife, Debbie, Jody Thompson and Dylan Thompson and wife, Heather; grandchildren that he loved so much, Lauren Stecher and husband, Kylan, Killian Jenkins and fiance, Annie and Noah Thompson Tatz; several brothers and sister in laws; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Michael Matter, Danny Wright and Will Tatz.
