Jane Taylor

Jane Boone Taylor, 62, passed away, Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in Decatur. She was born August 22, 1959 in Fort Worth to Jerome and June (Crow) Boone. They both preceded her in death along with a brother, Jerome Boone III, and sisters, Janice Boone and Judy Wylie. Jane grew up in Fort Worth and attended O.D. Wyatt High School. She worked as a dispatch operator for a trucking company for many years, a sales assistant for Reeder Distribution and finally retiring from Multiplan Insurance Brokers. Jane enjoyed the outdoors, everything from fishing to swimming and enjoying a margarita at times. But, most of all she adored her family and loved spending time with them. She is survived by her son, Fred Thornton, Jr. and his girlfriend, Tracey Emily; brothers, Jim Boone, Jeff Boone and wife, Dianne, Johnny Boone and Joseph Boone; sister, Joyce Walton; grandchildren, Hailey and Steeley Thornton; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss her dearly.
