Billy Jack Taylor, 81, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 6, 2015 in Fort Worth. Billy Jack was born October 22, 1933 in Springtown to Jack and Emma Chilcutt Taylor. They both preceded him in death along with his daughter, Carole Taylor Lanier. He married Bert Reed on March 10, 1967 and had just celebrated their 48th anniversary. He was a member of the Local 263 Ironworkers Association for many years. Billy Jack helped build the VAB building and the Epcot Center in Florida, the old Cowboys stadium in Irving and the Astrodome in Houston. He owned and operated Taylor Made Buildings for 26 years, was a member of the "Azle Coffee Club" and he loved to go to the Azle Opry on Friday nights. Billy Jack was a great family man, a friend to many and he never met a stranger. Survivors: His loving and devoted wife, Bert; sons, Jackie (Tricia) Taylor and Jimmy (Sharon) Lyon; daughters, Shawna (Sheri) Taylor and Lisa (Eleno) Leal; sister, Ann Cherry; son-in-law, Jay Lanier; grandchildren, Kristi, Aaron, Heather (Mark), Taylor (Jillian), Brooklin, Austin and Christian; great grandchildren, Gage, Jaden, Ashton, Kyden, Raelyn, Alyssa, Julie and Kinley.
