Barbara Taylor

Barbara Ann Johnston Taylor, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Decatur. Burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. She was born August 20, 1941 in Fort Worth to William Darcy and Hallie (Massey) Johnston. They both preceded her in death along with her sister, Betty Jo Lidster and brother, Neal Johnston. Barbara was a longtime member of the Hallmark Baptist Church in Fort Worth. She attended nursing school and love to take care of people. She retired after 30 years of dedicated service to the United States Post Office where she worked as a sorter. Left to cherish wonderful memories is her children, Deedy Hawkins and husband, Michael, Kevin Taylor and wife, Kim, Kim Taylor and Chellafon Taylor; grandchildren, Ashley, Jennifer, Jacob, Jessica, Tyra, Jordan, Greyson, Hallie and Kristen; great grandchildren, Easton, Riley, Madison, Jaron, Gavin and Jesse; all of will miss her dearly.
