Ann Elizabeth Taylor passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was born August 20, 1938 to William E and Margery H (Parker) Taylor. Ann is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tom Taylor. She grew up in Glen Rose and later moved to Fort Worth where she graduated from Poly Tech High School in 1956. Shortly after graduation Ann worked for the U S government and was assigned in Sweden. While there, she mastered the Swedish language. She married in 1967 and became a mother to Lee in 1968. She then became one of the first women air traffic controllers in the US in the late 1960s. In 1977 she became a realtor and worked in the real estate industry and completed her Bachelors degree in business in 1985. Ann was sharp minded and witty. She enjoyed oil painting, and crossword puzzles. She was politically active and engaged throughout her life. Ann is survived by her son, Lee Taylor and his wife Chrissy; grand children, Sydney, Hayden and Lily, Along with many extended family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who know her.
