Susan Jeannette (Cole) Boston, aged 69, peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on April 19, 2025, in Springtown. Born on December 10, 1955, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Byron Cole and Fern (Westfall) Cole, Susan's journey through life was filled with joy, resilience, and profound love.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.R. Boston III, and her parents, Susan leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that touched everyone she met.

Throughout her life, Susan embraced the vibrant experiences that came her way. Her time spent working at Walmart in Fort Smith, Arkansas, was marked by memorable moments, including having the founder of Walmart, Sam Walton, as her bag boy. In addition to this unique chapter, she also showcased her talents as a DJ for KBOC radio in Bridgeport, captivating listeners under the name “Susan J.”

A passionate soul, Susan found joy in a myriad of activities, from indulging in true crime television to riding motorcycles and appreciating the beauty of nature. She had a special fondness for hummingbirds, which mirrored her gentle spirit. Most cherished were the moments spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

To her friends, Susan was a source of unwavering support and love. She forged deep connections with many, including Robin Richie, Pam Barrett, Debbie Naper, June Thompson, and Cathy Phillips, considering them family. Her generosity of heart knew no boundaries, and her kindness left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

Susan is survived by her loving daughter, Melissa Rodriguez and husband Jimmy; her son, J.R. Boston IV “Robby”; and her cherished grandchildren, Victoria Bower and husband Sid, Isabella Ortega and husband Elijah, Tyler Hadley, Ryan Hadley, Bailee Boston. She also lovingly leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Ezra Ortega, Hazel Hadley, Scarlett Hadley, and Stetson Hadley.

Susan Jeannette (Cole) Boston will be dearly remembered for her infectious spirit and the love she so freely gave. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
