William Spencer

William James Spencer, 68, a professional drummer, passed away Friday, March 8, 2018 in Weatherford. Jim also known as Jimmy and Jimbob was born September 13, 1949 in Belchertown, Massachusetts to William and Ruth Taylor Spencer. They both preceded him in death along with his sister, Michelle Holland, and beloved brother-in-law Ed Hardy. He is survived by his children Jason Spencer and wife, Heather, Jeremy Spencer, Shannon DeKalb and Anthony Spencer; siblings Barbara Hardy, Tracey Spencer, Robert Spencer, Gary Reddin and Bashawn Reddin-Crawford; grandchildren Katy, Claire, Ana, Caleb, Asher, Avery, Brooke and Jaxxon. Jim served his country as a radio operator and infantryman in the Vietnam War. He was certainly best known for his love of family and music, as he delighted deeply in both. He will be dearly missed.
