Valorie Snodgrass

As we journey through life, we inevitably say goodbye to many loved ones. But one of the hardest farewells is to a mother—the heart of the family, the comforting voice in times of need, and the unwavering source of love and strength.

Valorie Sue Snodgrass was the embodiment of everything a mother should be. From her warm embrace and listening ear to the best chicken and dumplings you could ever ask for, she was the person you turned to on both your best and hardest days. Her kindness, wisdom, and love left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew her.

Born on February 12, 1956, in Clifton, Texas, to Raymond and Joyce Wilson, Valorie lived a life filled with devotion to her family. On March 13, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, she peacefully entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loved ones.

She is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 52 years, Ben Snodgrass; her children, Benjamin Snodgrass and wife Kimberley Pinkerton, Vanessa Bryson and husband Michael Somogye, and Brad Snodgrass and wife Karen Snodgrass; and her cherished grandchildren, Haden Snodgrass, Layla Bryson, Charles Bryson, Riley Pfeil-Snodgrass, Karoline Snodgrass, and Brogan Snodgrass. She also leaves behind her beloved siblings, Edna Coslett, Carol Savell, Mary Waugh, and Walter Wilson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who were all dear to her heart.

Valorie is reunited in heaven with her parents, Raymond and Joyce Wilson; her brother, Johnny Wilson; her brothers-in-law, John and Bobby Snodgrass as well as Gary Lynn; and her sister-in-law, Virginia Elliott.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Valorie’s love, warmth, and spirit will continue to live on in all those she touched. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will never be forgotten.
