Jane Ellen Snodgrass was gifted to us by God for 74 years. She was a mother, grandmother, wife, nurse, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved with all her heart, and fought tirelessly for her beliefs. She left no one guessing where they stood with her. If you were lucky enough to feel her shine, you were forever changed. She was loving, tough, wickedly funny, unapologetically generous, with a spitfire personality. She was tiny but left an enormous impact.
She was proud to be a nurse for the past 45 years.
She was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Orphaned at the age of 5, she was raised by her Grandmother, Lily Mae Craig. She lived in Boyd, Texas, the past 43 years, where she raised her family. She was a proud Mama. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She loved puzzles, reading, fishing, country living, Kewpie dolls, and animals.
She was loved dearly for the past 51 years by her husband, Wallace "Pepper" Snodgrass.
She was looking forward to Heaven to be reunited with her mother, Hazel Lee Craig Ramey, and her infant daughter, Dorothy Renee Pressley.
She was so loved and will be missed immeasureably by her husband; son, Jerry Pressley and wife, Tracey; daughter, Stephanie Snodgrass Kelton; grandsons, Jeremy Pressley and wife Alisha, Kevin Pressley, and Randall "Boo" Kelton; granddaughter, Shelby Adkisson and husband Paul; great grandchildren, Ellie and Solomon Pressley, and Wesley and Pressley Adkisson; as well as a host of extended family.
