David Smith

David Smith, 57, of Joshua, passed away Wednesday May 24, 2017. David was born January 15, 1960 to Gerald and Kathleen Smith in Fort Worth. He grew up in Colleyville, attended Grapevine High School and was a proud recipient of the "G" award while playing football. In 1997 David moved to Joshua with his wife Barbara. He was a devoted and loving husband and father to whom family meant everything. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, camping, John Wayne movies and driving a tractor trailer truck. He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Kathleen Smith. Survivors: Wife, Barbara Smith of Joshua; children, Kassandra and Zachary Smith both of Joshua; and brother, Mark Smith and wife Patty of Bedford. David will be greatly missed by all who knew him, friends and family.
