Brentley Smith

Brentley Smith, born April 18, 1982, passed away, on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home in Azle, surrounded by his family and loved ones. The world has lost an amazing friend, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, father, and husband. Brentley enjoyed fishing, camping, chasing critters, and being outdoors.  He never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went.  Brentley never hesitated to help a friend when needed.  His kindness outweighed this world. Brentley loved his friends and family and enjoyed spending time with them any time. He loved being a father to his daughter.  They would have special breakfast time before daycare and special story time before bed.  Brentley loved his wife and spoiled her as much as he could. He is survived by his wife, Heather Smith; daughter, Lyla Smith; grandmother Anna Smith; sister, Charity Decosta and husband, Bud; brothers, Brice Smith and wife, Marti, Brian Smith, Brandon Smith and wife, Jackie and Blaine Smith and wife. Candice; nephews, Skyler Purcell, Braden Smith and Joseph Rowe. Brentley is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Smith and father, Edgar Smith.
