Terry Shumate

Terry Edward Shumate, 65, passed away, Sunday, October 8, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born June 21, 1958 in Fort Worth to BF “Red” and Barbara Jean (Edwards) Shumate. They both preceded him in death along with his grandmother, Ollie “Nanny” Shumate, son, Andrew Lloyd Shumate, sister, Debbie Rankin, brother-in-law, Larry Frank, brother, Junior Tidwell and grandmother, Rilla Richardson; Terry was a loving husband, father and pawpaw. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Shumate; sons, Billy Shumate and wife, April, Christopher Shumate and Alex Shumate; daughter, Sarah Heatley and husband, Kevin; mother-in-law, Pearl Wadsworth; grandchildren, Kerri and husband, Christian, Charles, Ashlynn and husband, Michael, Lucas, Tyler, Bailee, Logan and wife, Lauren, Dakota, Jayden and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Oaklee, Blakelynn Jean, Makayla and Taytum Ray (due in February); extended family and friends.
