Sherri Lynnett Lackey, a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, on November 21, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on October 17, 1969, Sherri was a true Fort Worth native, deeply rooted in the community and cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Sherri was the embodiment of kindness, love, and generosity. Her warm heart and compassionate spirit touched the lives of many. She held a special place in the hearts of her family, always putting them first and showering them with affection. She was preceded in death by her esteemed parents, Gary Nathaniel Lackey and Sandra (Roberts) Lackey, and her beloved brother, Donnie Martin. Their absence will forever be felt, but Sherri's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched.
