Sharon Sue Campbell

Sharon Sue Campbell, known to many as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, peacefully departed this world on June 16, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on January 28, 1947, Sharon lived a life filled with devotion to her family and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that life offered her.

As the matriarch of her family, Sharon was a guiding light, always putting her loved ones first. She is survived by her two beloved sons, David Haas and his wife Holly, and Richard Lain, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Her warmth enveloped her grandchildren, Landon Haas, Elizabeth Haas, Katie Rae Lain, Julia Lain, and Aaron Lain, nurturing them with the kind of care that only a grandmother could provide. Their lives, forever touched by her presence, are a testament to the lasting impact she had as a loving maternal figure.

Sharon's sister, Jackie Rodgers, and her husband, Conrad "Shorty," share in the mourning of this extraordinary woman. The bond they shared was a source of strength and joy, as they supported one another through the ups and downs of life. Sharon also leaves behind cherished memories with her niece, Michelle Rodgers, and her nephews, Cason Rodgers and wife Katie and Blake and Larry Rodgers, who were reminded through her love of the beauty of family connections.

An animal lover at heart, she adored her furry companions—Sophie, Murphy, and Finn—as though they were her own children. Her home was a haven for her pets, who reveled in her gentle affection. Sharon's organized nature extended beyond her family life; she was meticulous in everything she did, whether it was her love for reading, engaging in Bible study, or balancing her responsibilities.

Sharon's legacy is one of devotion and resilience, her spirit intertwined with the love she fostered in her family and friends. Though she is preceded in death by her father, Jack Grunwald, and her mother, Geneva (Haney) Grunwald, her memory will live on profoundly in the hearts of those who knew her.
