Royce Weldon Hanna

Mr. Royce Weldon (Bud)  Hanna passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026, at his home in Paradise. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Hanna; his granddaughter, Melissa Hanna; and his parents, Samuel and Evelyn (Blue) Hanna.

Raised in Parker County, Royce spent most of his life in the area. He attended Springtown High School, and in 1963, married Linda, the love of his life. Together, they created a loving home and family. Royce was the owner and operator of Coverall Siding and Gutters for many years.

A man of few words, Royce expressed his love through actions, always ready to help those in need. He was a dedicated worker, enjoyed watching westerns, and found joy in fishing. His compassion extended to animals, often carrying dog food in his truck to feed strays he encountered.

He is survived by his children, Charles Hanna and his wife Paulette, Chad Hanna, Clinton Hanna, Clay Hanna and his wife Nichole, and Cassie Hanna; grandchildren, Kyler, Brantley, Shayla, Christopher, Caylee, and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Ayden, Briar, and Donald; and his sisters, Joyce, Diane, Mary, and Susie. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.
