Jodie Ross

Jodie Lynn Ross, 51, passed away, Tuesday, May 21, 2024 in Decatur, surrounded by her family. She was born December 13, 1972 in Fort Worth to Charles Franklin and Lois (Busby) Mackey. Jodie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Connie Woodard. She was raised in Fort Worth and graduated Haltom High School in 1989. Jodie worked as a server in the restaurant industry for many years. She also worked in customer service for an insurance company. Jodie was a kind person who enjoyed helping others whenever she could. She loved her dog Little Bit. Mostly Jodie loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Kendyll Ross and girlfriend, Samantha; brothers, Robert Buckelew, Larry Williams and wife Ester, Charles Mackey, William Mackey, John Paul Vonwahalde; nieces, Stephanie, Holli, and Leslie; grandchildren, Rory-K, Mason, Kane, Haelynn, and Karter. Jodie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
