**In Loving Memory of Ronald Clark Johnston**
Ronald Clark Johnston, a vibrant soul who enriched the lives of many, peacefully departed on November 5, 2025, at his home in Springtown, Texas. Born on March 26, 1950, in El Paso, Texas, he was the cherished son of George and Frances (Jarvis) Johnston. Ronald was welcomed into the arms of his heavenly family, now reunited with his beloved parents, brother Bobby, and sister Kathy.
A gifted musician, Ron pursued his passion for music at the University of Berkeley in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree. His immense talent as a guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, arranger, and producer illuminated the lives of those fortunate enough to hear his work. For 26 wonderful years, he shared his creative journey with his beloved wife, Katt, collaborating on countless artistic projects alongside an array of all-star musicians.
Beyond his impressive career, Ron treasured the quieter moments with Katt, particularly the time spent with their cherished Great Dane, Beauty. Their home was filled with love, laughter, and the sweet sounds of music that echoed throughout.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Mary Elizabeth Johnston, and his beloved children—son Cody M. Johnston and daughter Elsa L. Johnston. He is also remembered with love by his brother, Michael, and sisters, Cynthia and Lisa.
