Ronald Owen Robinson, 79, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Azle. He was born November 30, 1944 to Jasper (Bob) Owen and Margee (Runyon) Robinson in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ronald grew up in the Lake Worth and Azle area and graduated from Fort Worth Christian Academy in 1964. He married the love of his life Lura, in 1969. They raised their children in Keller and were married for 55 years. Ronald was self employed, owning several businesses over the years before retiring in 2022. He and Lura were house parents for Christ Haven Children’s Home for 16 years. Ronald’s love for our Lord was shown daily as he would start each day reading from his Bible and leading bible study weekly, he also enjoyed fishing, working around the house, but ultimately, spending time with his family. Ronald also loved his dog Charlie. He is survived by his wife, Lura Robinson; sons, Michael Robinson and, Kevin Robinson (and spouse Amy), Pattie Irvin; Brother Mel Robinson; sisters, Dayna Meuli (and spouse Gus), Debbie Wiley (and spouse Buddy), Susan Pratt (and spouse Phil); grandchildren, Macey Hunter (and spouse Evan), Dylan (and spouse Hannah), Dawson, and Dayton; great-granddaughter, Tristyn, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Ronald will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
