Nancy Robinson

Nancy Carol Robinson-Ross, 68, of Mineral Wells, met her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face on Monday, June 19, 2023.
Nancy was born in El Paso on July 19, 1954, to Melvin Victor Peterson and Virginia Carol (Fields) Peterson. She grew up in El Paso and attended Bel Air High School. She later earned an associate degree from Weatherford College. Nancy married the late Arnold Isaac “Ike” Robinson, in El Paso, and he preceded her in death in 1998. Nancy had been a resident of Mineral Wells since 1981 and held several customer service jobs after Philips Components closed their manufacturing facility where she worked for many years. Nancy was a very loving mother to Matthew Scott and Jennifer Marie Robinson, and wife to Alfred Dale “A.D.” Ross. Matthew “Matt” preceded her in death in 2002.
Nancy will always be fondly remembered for her tenacity and for being a very hard worker, oftentimes working two jobs. She never passed up an opportunity to teach her children a life skill. Nancy overcame many obstacles and hardships during her lifetime which made her an incredibly caring and generous woman. She loved her family, friends, and her little dogs very much.
Nancy is survived and will be missed by her loving husband, Alfred Dale “A.D” Ross; daughter, Jennifer Marie Robinson and Guy Stilwell; two sisters, Barbara Cushman and Shirley Edwards (Gilbert “Gil” Edwards); Robert Moss; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
