Jannett Roberts

Jannett Inez Buchanan Roberts, 80, passed away, Sunday, July 26, 2015. Funeral services were held, Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Gospel Gathering Fellowship in Azle. She was born, November 3, 1934 in Atwood, Oklahoma to Carl and Nettie Carroll Buchanan, they predeceased her, along with two brothers, Carl and Glen; and two sisters, Della Faye and Shirley. Jannett grew up in Powell, Oklahoma and graduated from Kingston High. She married Charles Roberts, March 14, 1953 and they moved to Midland in 1955. She loved music and worked in a record store. They were blessed with two boys who often were her dates to many concerts over the years. In retirement they moved to Azle in 1985. Survivors: Husband of 62 years, Charles; sons, Glen and wife, Christine and Joel and wife Chrissy; brothers, Bobby and wife, Sarita, Glendon and wife Donna and Elmer "Uncle Snooter"; sister, Vicki; grandchildren, Charles, Amy, Dusti, Andy, Cally, JR. and Shelly; great grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren, Cheyenne, Hailey, Charlie, Michael, Zachery, Logan, Andrew, Noah, Kaleb, Averi, Bentley and Alec.
