Carol Gene Franklin Roberts, 54, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Decatur. Carol was born May 22, 1963 in Houston to Carl Junior and Elizabeth Joyce Weeks Franklin. They both preceded her in death along with a brother, Carl Junior Franklin. Carol is survived by her daughter, Tasha Ward and husband, Justin; son, Matthew Roberts; brother, John Franklin; sister, Helen Dominy; grandchildren, Chasity and Alley Ward; and good friend and father to her children, William Roberts and husband, Jay Caraway.
