Brenda Roberts

Brenda Carol Roberts was born on Valentines Day, February 14, 1954.  She was the oldest of 6 children.  Her parents were Elery Otho Beene and Ruby Dell Horton Beene.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford Roberts and went to join him on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.  She was also preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers and her Baby Sister Barbie.

She is survived by her sister, Janice Marie Harris and husband Dwayne and her sister Ellen along with her roommate Cloe and her best friend Cecilia.  Her friend Christina and Johnny (she called him my Johnny and he was the child she grew closest too in this world) who lived in her home with Cliff for many years.   Her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many special friends too numerous to name.

Brenda was a beloved sister and her nieces and nephews called her "Aunt BP&J" - every time they went to her house, she would give them peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  Her great nieces and nephews knew her as "Nana Bre".

Though she never had children of her own, she helped raise all the children in her life.  She was a retired nurse and wrote poetry and haiku.  A published author she was eloquent with her words and all will greatly miss her.
