Gloria Ripple

Gloria Jean (Baird) Ripple, 80, passed away, Friday, December 9, 2022 in Decatur. She was born May 4, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio to Orville and Betty (Fink) Baird. They both preceded her in death along with her loving husband of 62 years, William Ripple who passed away, November 30, 2022. Also preceding her were her sister, Nancy Hull; brother, Carl Baird; and daughter, Linda Avolio. Gloria was a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors and raised buffalo for 17 years. Gloria also raised and sold Irish Setters for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Cindy Becker and her husband, Mark; son, William Ripple II and wife, Carol; sister, Karen Baird; grandchildren, Cody, Heather, Devin, Crystal and Richard; great grandchildren, Damian, Madison, Skyler, Ashton, Riley, Ruthie, Bentley, Amber and Emily. Gloria will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
