Melinda Richardson

Melinda Kay “Yaya” Underwood Richardson, 61, passed away, Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Fort Worth. Memoiral: 2 p.m., Friday, April 23, 2021 at Alexander’s Midway Funeral Home, Springtown. She was born November 9, 1959 in Pueblo, Colorado. Her mother, Ruby Estelle Haney preceded her in death. Along with her husband, Donnie Richardson, niece, Bailee Kay Lynn and several other close family members. Melinda was a loving mom, the best sister and awesome aunt. She had a love that was unconditional for everyone, including animals and was always there to help anyone in need. She was a caring, kind and beautiful woman to all who knew her. Left to cherish wonderful memories are her sons, Jonthan Richardson and Bryan Richardson and wife, Tammy; father, Lewis Underwood; sister, Tammy Underwood; twin sister, Madeline Westenhaver; brothers, Ricky Underwood and Johnny Underwood and girlfriend, Diane; sister, Charlotte Hinckley and husband, Patrick Carson; nieces, Sarah, Brittany, Hannah, Bethany, Mackenzie and several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephew; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and faithful canine companion, her boxer, Lily.
