**In Loving Memory of Richard Dale Blankenship**
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Richard Dale Blankenship, who left us on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at his beloved home in Richland Hills. Born on November 13, 1968, in Fort Worth, Texas, Richard was a cherished son to the late Jimmy Albert Blankenship and Billie Ann (Langston) Blankenship.
A devoted husband and father, Richard found his greatest joy in the love he shared with his wife, Carmen, and their son, Chase. His steadfast commitment to family was evident in all he did, whether it was grilling on weekends or frying a turkey for special occasions. These moments will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Richard's spirit was defined by his strong Christian faith, guiding his actions and bringing light to those around him. He was a hard-working man who embraced life's pleasures with enthusiasm, whether he was practicing karate or tending to his garden. His love and companionship extended to his faithful dogs, Samantha and Coco, who brought him comfort for 18 wonderful years.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 37 years, Carmen Blankenship; his son, Chase Blankenship; his sister Kammy Rogers and her husband Jay; his brothers, David Blankenship and his wife Lisa, and Jimmy Don Blankenship and his wife Karen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
While Richard's presence will be deeply missed, his warm spirit and loving memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May we honor his legacy by cherishing the time spent with our loved ones and embracing life with the same passion Richard did.
