Lupe Renteria

Lupe (Cardenas) Renteria, 82, passed away September 16, 2023 in Jacksboro. She was born April 22, 1941, in Fredericksburg, to Eugenio and Vicenta (Arizola) Cardenas. Lupe was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, Joe Renteria; sons, Eric Renteria, and Ernest Renteria and grandson, Michael Shingleton. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and aunt. Lupe is survived by daughters, Barbara Collins, and Elizabeth Chenault; grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Molly, Sage, Karen, Bryce, and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Carlysle, Alexander, Brendan, and Sophia; sisters, Sylvia Diaz and Amelia Escoto; brothers, Paul Cardenas, Alfred Cardenas and his wife Gloria, and Gavin Cardenas; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
