Robert Reitz

Robert Roy Reitz, 66, was called home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 24, 2024. He was born July 22, 1957 in Fort Worth. His mother, Frances (Nentwig) Reitz preceded him in death. Robert was a longtime resident of Haltom City. He graduated salutatorian from Keller High School where he played the drums in the marching band and football. Robert was retired from Bell Helicopter and was a jack of all trades. He also played with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and had a love for dogs. Robert will be remembered by his loving family, his wife of 26 years, Charlotte (Newkirk) Reitz; children, Brandy and William Reitz: father, Ronald Reitz: sister, Rhonda Rye; step-brothers, Art Coker and wife, Tammy and Jimmy Coker and wife, Lisa; grandsons, Luke and Kyle Hobbs; father-in-law, Billy Newkirk; mother-in-law, Allie Johnson and her husband, Duane and extended family.
