Melvin Ratliff

Melvin Donnie Ratliff, 73, passed away, Friday, August 16, 2019 at home surrounded by those that love him. He was born November 1, 1945 in O’Donnell to Melvin Russell and Georgia Ann (Willis) Ratliff. They both preceded him in death along with his wife, Judy (Childress) Ratliff, brothers, Joe Reed and Ronnie Ratliff; and sister, Juanita Edwards. Melvin served in the US. Army and did two tours during the Vietnam War. Later in life he was a truck driver and was presented several Million Miles Safety Awards. He is survived by his son, Clinton Ratliff and wife, Tiffany; daughters, Dondi Ratliff and Mindi Kimbro and husband, B.J.; grandchildren, Donny, Bethany, Samantha and Laney; great grandchildren, Cooper and Whitley; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
