Elizabeth Anne “Anne” Pruitt, 76, passed away, Monday, October 26, 2015, at home surrounded by those who love her.
Anne was born on June 5, 1939 to James and Emma Cameron. She married Willis “Gene” Pruitt in 1976 in Stockport England while Gene was in the Air Force. In 1977 they came home to Texas for their first visit as husband and wife. After duty stations in England, Holland, and Alaska, they settled down in Burleson.
Anne loved her dogs and had Keeshonds, Poodles, and Pomeranians through the years. Anne loved traveling (especially trips to Lake Tahoe with her husband) and always welcomed a trip to the casinos with the “girls”. Anne was an avid bowler who loved card and board games and had a fascination with “big cats”.
Survivors: Children, Sheri Cohen and husband, Seth of New Braunfels; sons, David "Buster Pruitt" Yonker and wife, Ramona and Ronald Pruitt and wife, Tosh, all of Little Elm; grandchildren, Tayler, Carolyn and Ashley; and great granddaughter, Lily; brothers, Sonny Cameron and wife, Sandra and, Pete Cameron all of of Salisbury England; sister, Barbara Browning of Durrington England; sister-in-law, Trish Hampton of Crowley; and close friends, June Badgett of Burleson and Mary Jones of O'Fallon, MO.; Anne will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
