Kendra Pruett

Kendra Kaye (Walker) Pruett, 53, a loving and selfless, wife, mother, “Kaye K” and friend, passed away, Sunday, February 25, 2024. She was born August 20, 1970 in Tyler to Edward E. and Glenda J. (Jackson) Walker. They both preceded her in death. Kendra grew up in Tyler and graduated from UT Tyler with a Masters in English. She had the heart of a caretaker and worked as a counselor in a rehabilitation facility, as a paralegal at Cantey-Hanger and was always there to take care of her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Darren Pruett; sons, Jacob Soward and fiancé, Emily, Garrett Pruett and Joshua Soward; grandson, Warren Pruett; mother and father in law, Carol and Alvin Pruett; sister-in-laws, Kim Wilson and husband, Mike and Lisa Cristan and husband, Lonnie; brother-in-law, Eddie Pruett and wife, Laura; extended family and friends.
