James Gaither Pollard, 78 passed away, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at home. He was born June 24, 1940 in Lamar County to Lois and Bertha (Lewis) Pollard. They both preceded him in death. James was retired after 21 years of dedicated service in the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Tamela Pollard; daughters, Heather Pollard and LaNita Palmer; sister Dorothy Fagan and brother, Clayton Pollard.
