For many years, Philisa shared her talents and kindness with the communities of Collieville and Grapevine, where she worked as a cosmetologist. Her skillful hands and gentle spirit offered more than beauty treatments; they provided comfort, confidence, and connection to those who sat in her chair.

Philisa was a loving mother and grandmother, roles she embraced with unfailing devotion. She is survived by her children, Douglas Worthington, Chance Valliant, and Channing Summers, and her husband, Austin, who were the center of her world. Her grandchildren—Adalyn, Aislyn, Andyn, and Acyn—were sources of endless pride and happiness. Alongside them, her sisters Paula Martin and Patti Madewell stood by her side, united by shared memories and love.
