Joyce Peters

Joyce Marie Bishop Peters, 73, a loving wife, mother, sister and nana, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Decatur. She was born September 7, 1948 in Stephenville to LeeRoy Bishop and Fayne (Rhodes) Smith. They both preceded her in death, along with her sisters, Brenda, Exa, Debbie and Janice. Joyce loved the Lord and had a huge giving heart, always putting others before herself. Left to cherish fond memories are her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Allen Peters; daughter, Sonja Crocker and husband, Erin; sisters, Virginia Mader and husband, Allen and Allie Johnson and husband, Duane; brother, Bobby Bishop and wife, Sharon; granddaughter, Meaghan Crocker; grandson, Iain Crocker; numerous nieces, nephews; extended family and friends.
