Anthony Pelaez

Anthony “Tony” Pelaez went to be with our Lord on August 18, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Tony grew up in White Settlement and was a graduate of Brewer High School. After school, he was a member of the Air Force with the rank of Second Lieutenant. He attended the University of Michigan earning a BS in computer science. He went on to obtain his Master’s at University of North Carolina. He owned his own business doing computer coding for electronic medical records.
Tony is survived by his wife Traci Pelaez, his mother Sonia Martinez, his stepfather Raul Martinez, his sisters Alma Guitierrez, Belinda Theobald and Melinda Martinez. He also has three children; Chris Markey, Christina Collinsworth and Allison Jennings. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three nieces and three nephews. He also has many friends of whom he thought of as family. Tony was preceded in death by his father Marino Pelaez. The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
