On June 13, 1937, Pearl Wadsworth graced the world with her presence, and on October 24, 2025, she went home to her reward, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Pearl was a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to resilience and the pursuit of dreams. Throughout her journey, she embraced many roles—devoted mother, meticulous secretary, compassionate sales clerk, and skilled veterinary technician. At the age of 40, demonstrating that it’s truly never too late to follow one's passions, Pearl returned to school to fulfill her long-held aspiration of becoming a nurse, enriching her life and those she cared for along the way.
As a mother, she nurtured five children, each of whom, along with their spouses, brought immeasurable joy into her life. By the age of 44, Pearl was blessed to be a grandmother, eventually becoming a proud grandmother of 17, a great-grandmother of 15, and a great-great-grandmother of 10—each grandchild carrying a piece of her loving spirit.
Though she is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Henry and Rilla Richardson, her dear sister, Marcie McDaris, and her cherished grandson, Andrew, her memory will always be a guiding light in our lives. Pearl had a deep love for worship and passionately participated in church gatherings at Azle and Westbury whenever she visited Houston, a joy that enriched her soul and those who worshiped alongside her.
She will be deeply missed, and her legacy of love, dedication, and faith will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing her.
