Paula Ann Denton

Paula Ann Beneaux Denton, born July 2, 1935, in Tarrant County, Texas, passed away surrounded by the love of the family to whom she devoted so much of her life, Monday, August 10, 2026.

Paula was the daughter of Paul Beneaux and Mary Anne Wilcox. She shared an extraordinary 72 years of marriage with her husband, Robert Edwin Denton, a lifetime together built around family, love, and companionship.

Paula was a devoted wife and mother to her three children, Sheryl Sutherland, Donnie Denton, and David Denton. Her family continued to grow over the years, blessing her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart and helped fill her life with joy.

For most of her life, Paula dedicated herself to her home and raising her family. She also spent time working as a bank teller. She found happiness in the simple things that brought people together. She loved to cook and bake for those around her and enjoyed playing bingo. Her kitchen was a place where food, family, and memories naturally came together.

Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edwin Denton, sisters, Mary Rowe and Peggy Cloud.

After 91 years of life and 72 years of marriage, Paula leaves behind a large and loving family and generations of memories. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered on the people she loved most.

Her family will carry forward the love, traditions, and memories she gave them throughout a long and meaningful life
