Pamela Helen (Delzenne) Jackson, 87, peacefully passed away, Sunday, October 9, 2025 at her home in Azle. She was Born on January 8, 1938, in Hayes-Middlesex, England, and was the daughter of Hubert Frank and Elizabeth (Champion) Delzenne, both of whom preceded her in death along with her husband, Butch Cope and sons, John W. Jackson and Wayne Jackson.
Pam's journey began in England, where she spent her early years before relocating to the United States around 1960 as an air force wife. Their travels took them through several states, including California and Virginia, and to Germany, before finally settling in Texas.
In her professional life, Pam was an accomplished entrepreneur, owning and operating “Pam’s Snip and Sew” near the Eastgate of Carswell. In the early 1990s, she met her husband, Butch Cope, and together they ran a convenience/grocery store in Lone Camp. After retiring, they moved to Azle, where Pam found joy in knitting blankets and hats for newborns in the NICU at local hospitals.
Pamela had a passion for yard-work and took great pleasure in tending to her yard. She was also well-known for her vibrant personality, often expressing herself through her collection of crazy unique hats and her neon clothing. She loved being the life of the party and was affectionally known as “Mumzy” or “Granny Pam”.
Pam is survived by her loving children: Robin Jackson and wife, Heather; Raymond Jackson and wife, Robyn; and Glenn Jackson and wife, Kathy. She also leaves behind her brothers, Eric Delzenne and wife, Anne, and Anthony Delzenne; her sister, Pat Nelson; and daughter-in-law, Judy Jackson. Her cherished grandchildren—Jarod (Ruth), Joel (Stephanie), James (Kristen), Renee (Andrew), Jonathan (Stacy), Eric (Kristin), Danielle, Brittany, and Rhea—along with her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Madison, Noah, Isabella, Camden, Paisley, Kaylee, Lane, Jessalyn, Jericho, Rhylie, Sawyer, Berkley, A'mia, and K'lahni, will carry her memory forward.
Pam's vibrant spirit and generous heart touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
