Pamela Ryna Ilene Hardy, born on February 24, 1951, in Clarksville, Texas, peacefully passed away on November 28, 2025, in Springtown. She was renowned for her warm spirit and quiet demeanor, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the honor of knowing her.

Pamela dedicated over 20 years to her nursing career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) after completing her education in nursing school. Her dedication to her profession was evident in her compassionate approach to patient care, where she offered not only treatment but a caring presence to those in need.

A loving wife, mother, and friend, she was the fifth of nine children and cherished her close relationships with her siblings throughout her life. Pamela created a comfortable home for her family in Mount Pleasant, nurturing their growth with her steadfast love and support. Her humor, often subtle yet impactful, brought joy to her family and friends, making her an approachable figure in their lives.

Pamela was an  avid embroiderer; she lovingly crafted dish towels that became family favorites, a testament to her thoughtfulness. Later in life, she realized a long-held dream of owning horses, a gift from her husband, Dwight Hardy, which symbolized her love for these majestic animals.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Freeman and Denver Hardy; her beloved grandchildren, Summer and her husband, Kyle, and Hank; and her great-grandchild, Violet. Each of them carries forward the legacy of love and kindness that Pamela exemplified throughout her life.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Vincent Vaughan and Alice (Henry) Vaughan, as well as her husband, Dwight Hardy. Their memories will continue to live on in the heart of the family she has cherished all her days.

As we remember Pamela, we celebrate her life—a life filled with laughter, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered.
