Lunell spent her life loving and caring for her family. She worked many different jobs, from waiting tables to teaching Title One Math and Reading, driving heavy equipment on a road construction crew, hairdressing, teaching hairdressing, quality control in home health, caretaking in home health, certified nurse aide, cafe proprietor, bookkeeper, and retail clerk. She loved to work, and she loved serving others. She never met a stranger. She loved to laugh, loved serving others through church visitation and vacation Bible school, and she loved playing chickenfoot with her group of church friends from Lavon Drive Baptist Church in Garland,TX. Her hobbies included square dancing, country western dancing, listening to music, crocheting, making quilts for grandchildren, sewing, baking, playing dominoes, talking politics, and watching westerns, particularly starring John Wayne. She was generous to a fault, and would give anyone who needed it her last dollar. Her greatest joys were loving her family, studying God’s Word, and talking with anyone about God’s love. She will be missed by many, but we are thankful she is in Heaven with Christ, our Lord.
