Jack Morris

Jack Milton Morris, 86, passed away, Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in Decatur. He was born May 20,1937 in Sanger to William and Willie Pearl (Clearly) Morris. Jack was preceded in death by his parents along with his wife of 50 years Dema (Martin) Morris; brother, Thomas Morris; sister, Carol Flemming; granddaughter, Isabel Grace Morris; great-granddaughter Jules Martin. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Jack worked for many years in the construction industry. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, gardening and spending time with family. Jack is survived by his son, Martin Morris and his wife Peggy; daughter, Valerie Morris-Parker and husband Russell; sisters, Glenda Roberts, and Elaine Landry; grandchildren, Michelle and husband Brian, Chelsea and husband Kaleb, Andrea, Kory and wife Brittany; great-grandchildren, Caden, Corbin, Chloe, Jason, Zoey, Aria, Aniyah, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, and Grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
