Vada “Lanell" Janner Moore, 84, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 13, 2020. Lanell was born on September 8,1936 to Theodore and Vada Viola (Tompkins) Janner, in Brownwood, Texas. She grew up in Brownwood, and later married Coy Moore. They resided in Brownwood for many years and then moved to Springtown, Texas. Lanell and Coy enjoyed camping and traveling after Coy’s retirement. She worked as a seamstress in her earlier years, and later it became a hobby for her as she became quite the avid quilter. Lanell loved making quilts and sewing for her family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping, especially antique shops, garage sales, and thrift stores. Lanell was always up for a great game of Keno or card games of any type. Her family and friends were always close to her heart and she enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lanell is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Vada Viola (Tomkins) Janner and husband, Coy Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Deschenes and husband, Normand; sons, Jeff Johnson and wife, Jeanna and Jay Johnson and wife, Jimmie; adopted son, Colby Moore; grandchildren, Phillip, Lacy, Jordan, Brianna, Jameson, Kristin and Addison; great grand- children, Caleb, Adelae, Zander, Abby, Landon, Aivy, Leland, Joaquin, Sebastian, Landon and Eveline; great great grandchildren, Hunter and Cole.
Lanell will be greatly missed, but always remembered for her love and kindness to everyone she knew.
