Monroe Don Lingle, a cherished father, beloved brother, and true friend to many, departed this life on September 5, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on August 17, 1981, in Fort Worth. He was raised in Poolville. His kind spirit and light-hearted personality will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who knew him.

As a free-spirited man, Monroe had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him. He was blessed with a quick wit and a talent for humor that brightened the lives of both his family and friends. Monroe was not just a jokester; he was a loving father who treasured the time he spent with his children. Kolbie, Jimmy, Jaylee, and Wyatt were the shining stars of his life, and he reveled in every moment shared with them, filling their days with laughter and warmth.

Monroe’s strong connections with his family extended beyond his children. He shared a deep bond with his brother, Clint Hardin, and his sister, Susan Lingle, who, together with her husband Manny, formed an unbreakable support system around him. The memories they built will linger eternally, marking the joyous moments spent together as a family.

Though Monroe’s life was cut short, he leaves behind an indelible legacy of kindness and humor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Don Lingle and Linda Kay (Sullivan) Lingle, and brother, Jason Lingle, who undoubtedly take pride in the loving man he became.

His memorial service will be held on October 10, 2025, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas.
